WHAT IS YOGA?Yoga is a practice which developed in India thousands of years ago. Yoga recognises that the body and mind are linked together and uses postures, breathing techniques and relaxation practices to benefit the body and the mind. There are many benefits to practicing yoga: ~ Our bodies become healthier, stronger and more flexible ~ We find it easier to relax, so sleep better We become happier and are in a better position to put everyday problems into perspective which means we find it easier to avoid stress | |||||||||||
